Super(bowl) 7 Layer Dip

Modified from a recipe I landed on at pinterest, this version of individual 7 layer dip is healthier but still ready to party! Superbowl here we come! Go Giants!

Individual Seven-Layer Dip – Makes 8-10 individual dips

Supplies:

8-10(qty) 9oz clear tumblers (cups)

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 ounce) can organic vegitarian chili
  • 1 cup Mock-a-Mole or pre-made guac
  • 1 (8 ounce) container tofutti (non dairy) sour cream
  • 1 cup peach/mango salsa
  • 1 cup daiya shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 of a white onion
  • 1 jalapeno sliced
  • 2 bags of baked sweet potato tortilla chips
Directions:
If you opt to make your mock-a-mole or just fresh guac, whip that up first. Slice up your veggies then get to layering!
Layer 1 (Bottom): veggie chili (2 tbsp)
Layer 2: tofutti sour cream (2 tbsp)
Layer 3: mock-a-mole (2 tbsp)
Layer 4: salsa (2 tbsp)
Layer 5: daiya cheese (2 tbsp)
Layer 6: sprinkle tomatoes & onion
Layer 7: jalepeno (about 2 slices of pepper in each cup)
Tips: Make sure you drain your salsa to get the excess liquid out before you pour it on. Right before serving – top with about 1-2 teaspoons of tomatoes and 0nion then jalepenos. Garnish with one tortilla chip. Store in the refrigerator until serving and serve with chips.
Also, watch out for beggers, this dip is good!
